Now, I love breakfast toasts. Especially Avocado Toast. I ran across this recipe on Twitter via Bon Appetite and had to try it - it was absolutely delicious. The key to this simple recipe is having the right bread. My favorite bread is Honey Sunflower by La Brea. It just goes so well with pretty much everything.

Ingredients
- 1/3 Cp whole milk ricotta
- 1/2 teaspoon finely grated orange zest
- kosher salt, just a pinch
- 2 teaspoons honey, plus a little more for drizzling
- 2 slices multigrain bread
- 1 medium Bartlett pear, ripe and thinly sliced
- 3 Tablespoons unsalted and toasted almonds
Procedure
- Combine ricotta, orange zest, salt and 2 teaspoons of honey in a small bowl
- Toast the bread
- Spread the ricotta mixture on the cooled off toast
- Tops with sliced pear, sprinkle with toasted almonds, and drizzle with the honey
